Windsurfing Thijs!

This windsurfer has been going back and forth along our beach ever since we got here, this is one of his slower runs actually. So Thijs, lots of good windsurfing here (and kite surfing...), someone said windsurfing was invented in Kailua Bay...

Luke's 1st Soccer Practice

Luke had his first soccer practice yesterday. Turns out the parents of his coach are from Catonsville, small world!

1st Weekend

We went up to the North Shore on Saturday to Shark's Cove, which is a great tidal pool area with lots of tropical fish you can swim with and sea turtles as well.

Day4...

Noah's classroom has iPod Touches in his classroom, did a self-portrait in class, and a song about five parts of a letter in Language Arts.

Luke did oil pastels for artwork, plays tag with Noah and a lot of other kids during each recess, and learned Hawaiian war songs in Music.

Liam's class takes all their shoes off before they get in class, "my teacher is really nice, I'm staying on green for life"

Quinn became a big boy today and did number 2 on the potty! He's decided to be potty trained in Hawaii, and no accidents today!

The boys are all meeting nice friends. Kate joined the Y and starts her first aerobics class tomorrow, more importantly she gets a break for a couple hours!

We went to Kailua Beach to go swimming today and yesterday, "The water was very warm and there were waves (Liam)", "it's awesome and you can see underwater (Luke)".

We're Here!

Well, after a 10.5 hour flight, we've arrived in Hawaii! Boys did very well on the flight considering the length, and we don't think we upset too many of the people sitting around us.

We'll try and capture pics/stories/etc of our stay here in Hawaii on this blog for family and friends that may be interested. We'll try and update it frequently...
